Illustration is a complimentary component to graphic design that creates the desired impact in which my focus lies. The aim of my final year project is to study the relationship between people and their furry companion(s), in particular – the emotional benefits that come with them. I aim to draw attention to this subject via story telling – through sharing personal accounts of peoples experiences and by using illustration. My hope is that the reader will resonate with the stories shared and have a more clear understanding in the value of owning a pet.
