This Project aims to explore the act of
fake tanning. The project reflects on the
history of tanning and why it first became
popular. It investigates the reason’s behind wanting to be tanned, the now normalised cultural behaviours in relation to
tanning, and some of the controversies
that surround tan in recent years.
