Telepresent is an immersive installation that seeks to explore the relationship of the body within a digital dimension. The body has played the role of a main entity, character or subject throughout the eras. Concerned with themes of performativity, and the ways in which we act as online digital presences, my work draws attention to the body as the main presence, or object, occupying a space. The virtual environment resembles a VR experience and aims to engage the viewer from a personal perspective, visually navigating through it. The installation plays with 2 and 3D, different perspectives, virtuality and materiality.
