Beam

With the growth in cycle delivery services, I identified an opportunity to make urban navigation safer and more efficient. Navigation technologies can be distracting for cyclists, requiring them to take their eyes off the road. Beam is a simple navigation system for cycle couriers that attaches to the bars of a bicycle. It connects to the GPS in the service providers app and uses laser projection to integrate directions with the road alongside a micro LED display for daytime use. This allows the cyclist to keep their full attention on the road and also increases their visibility in blind spots of vehicles.
