Reconsume looks at the future of textile design within an environmental context. The collection considers the consequences of the textile industry. Through carefully selected textiles and designs, Reconsume addresses and raises awareness to the issue of pollution in relation to the ocean. Visuals are taken from the contrast of the pure beauty of the sea versus the polluted sea. Exploring materials and print techniques through different sustainable avenues, synthetic materials are up-cycled and reconstituted to create new surfaces. Natural long-lasting fabrics are processed through minimalistic use of screen and digital-printing.
