Achieving a sense of legacy is important to me in my photographic practice. My work draws from direct experience and study of old family artefacts and writings.
‘Manse’ captures my father’s preservation of generations before him in the family home, as well as his superimposition onto this preserved space. His belongings intermingling with theirs emphasises the passing of time, all the while keeping their memory alive.
