The effect of aging and deterioration within man-made forms was the starting point for this project. Overlooked imperfections, cracks and leakage oozing from split pipes and seams are evident in the process of disintegration. In our daily lives we rarely consider the build-up of grime inside domestic appliances, this is what informed my work. ‘Residual Waste’ references the sludge seeping from rusty waste tanks and drainpipes.
