“Dublin, The City of Homeless Families”
At present, there are over 10,000 people homeless across Ireland. ‘Any Change?’ calls attention to the vast amount of construction sites throughout Dublin. The work speaks to the power that textiles hold in protest. Discarded sleeping bags and plastic sheeting have become the fabrics of the city, representing the expectations for people to pack up their lives into a sleeping bag, while all around them there are hotels being built.
