Painting belongs to no tense and animation relies on timing, in both mediums everything is reversible. There is no viable separation between animating a painted image and the stillness of a frame. My practice situates painting and moving image on the same timeline in which fictional elements and everyday objects cross wires moving from concrete forms to abstraction.
