Yesterday's Tomorrow

The perception of idealism through lifestyle and image created in the social media world is an ever-increasing false delivery made difficult to comprehend. Nature is central to our lives allowing us to remain grounded in the vast expansion of the technological world. The work is explored through photography, sketching and painting in both large and small scale. The figures are altered through a personalised abstraction that is reliant on the individual artist’s perception of the image. Emerge oneself in the senses, let technology be absent, allow human interaction and relationships to be real and meaningful.
