My work examines the depiction of the body as a landscape. I dismantle an image to create an entirely new form, using depth as a means of division. I find the method of making the composition as essential as the action of applying the paint. I combine the body and a particular landscape so that it reflects that given environment and alters the viewers perception of the space. My work aims to explore the fine line between the boundaries of painting and the environment.
