Time embodies the unstable and disintegration of life, there is a freedom in what is unpredictable and unknown as individuals cannot foresee their life events. In seeking a material representation of time, I work with a delicate, dissolving sugar based material that captures the fluidity of time. By placing the material on a flatbed scanner, the end result is abstracted and isolated to emphasize the material properties.
